Paul Karwatsky is a journalist and media professional who, in 2019, left a successful 18-year career as an anchor at CTV News to pursue autism advocacy — a subject close to his and his family’s heart. Over the past three years, Karwatsky has helped to raise more than $20 million for various organizations dedicated to neurodiversity.
He now supports a wide range of causes through Aura Media, a firm Karwatsky co-founded with partner and former journalist Annie DeMelt, which is dedicated to the growth and marketing of non-profits and social enterprises.
Through his work, Karwatsky has become a leading figure in his industry, using his skills and expertise to support organizations making a real difference in the world. He is passionate about empowering others with the tools to create lasting change.
Karwatsky is a proud Concordia graduate and has taught classes as a part-time lecturer in the Department of Journalism.
