Learned unsustainability: Bandura’s Bobo Doll revisited

This resource shows implications Bandura's model of learned aggression has for modelling learned unsustainability. These lessons are not limited to educational applications. The Bobo doll is, in some important respects, like a supply-demand model, for example. Comparing the Bobo doll with contemporary dominant knowledge systems and other Bobo doll-like artefacts produces interesting insights and lessons for educational and economics research design. New approaches for tackling contemporary unsustainability are suggested.

Indigenous education holistic lifelong learning framework

Passed down by Elders and Knowledge Keepers, the Indigenous Education Holistic Lifelong Learning Framework offers guidance rooted in traditional and contemporary Indigenous wisdom. It structures foundational knowledge into four domains and essential attributes, enabling individuals and communities to deepen their understanding and support holistic student needs. In collaboration with Elders, the medicine wheel was chosen as a symbol. The center circle represents each individual, surrounded by interconnected domains: Spirit (To Be), Heart (To Belong), Body (To Do), and Mind (To Know).
