In these times of crisis, many of us have days when it's difficult to find hope. In this session, faculty members and graduate students will present and discuss readings that bring them hope and inspire them to action.
James Grant is Principal of the Loyola College for Diversity and Sustainability, Co-Director of the Loyola Sustainability Research Centre and Professor in the Department of Biology, where his research focuses on how the distribution of resources in space and time influences the aggressiveness of fish.
Jochen Jaeger is Associate Professor in the Department of Geography, Planning and Environment, a member of the Loyola Sustainability Research Centre, and founder of the Climate Emergency Committee. His research focuses on road ecology, urban sprawl, environmental impact assessment, and novel concepts of problem-oriented transdisciplinary research.
Alex Pace is a PhD student in the Department of Geography, Planning and Environment, a member of the Loyola Sustainability Research Centre, and a member of the Climate Emergency Committee. His research focuses on the past climate and forest ecology of Québec using tree rings.
Juliette Lebold is an undergraduate student in the Department of Geography, Planning and Environment and the Loyola College for Diversity and Sustainability, and also a member of the Climate Emergency Committee. Juliette is studying environmental science and sustainability.
