In this webinar, you will learn to apply appropriate communication skills and tools in different situations to effectively lead and inspire your team members and better manage change within your organization.

Participants will have a high-level understanding of how to:

  • Apply appropriate communication techniques within various professional contexts
  • Use effective communication (top-to-bottom and bottom-up) techniques to resolve conflict
  • Select appropriate communication channels for a suitable and professional response

Vesna Pankovska, GrCert 09

Vesna Pankovska spent her formative professional years at McDonald’s and Novartis and is currently Director of Finance at Roche Diagnostics.

She has a wealth of experience in accounting, finance, management and leadership and is passionate about learning and teaching. She is a judge for many John Molson School of Business and Dawson College case competitions and is a panelist for the Canadian Academic Accounting Association.

Vesna is a key member in the development team of Concordia’s new Validation of Competencies service. She is also a part-time instructor at Concordia Continuing Education within the Leadership program where she shares her expertise in communicating with emotional intelligence and hiring & developing talent.

In addition to her CMA Graduate Certificate in Management Accounting from Concordia’s John Molson School of Business, she has a Bachelor of Commerce in accounting and finance from North Macedonia and an MBA from the Université du Québec en Outaouais.
