Dr. Ron Rudin has just learned that his Lost Stories Project is one of 35 "signature projects" that have been granted funding from the Canada 150 Fund, established by the federal government to mark the 150th anniversary of Canada in 2017. He will be receiving $235,000 to collect little known stories about the Canadian past, to select four of them from across Canada which will be given to artists to create pieces of public art, and to document the process by way of a series of documentary films.

A fuller description of both the project and the grant is at: http://www.concordia.ca/news/stories/cunews/main/stories/2016/06/29/celebrate-the-history-of-forgotten-canadians-ronald-rudin-melanie-joly-canadian-heritage.html
