Please join the history department in congratulating our doctoral students Eliot Perrin and Lauren Laframboise, who have just published their first peer-reviewed journal articles based on their excellent MA theses:

Lauren has also edited a series of seven blogs on deindustrialization studies in Canada at Active History this month. It includes an excellent contribution from MA student Liam Devitt, "Is the gay steel mill closed? Reflections on queer histories of deindustrializing Cape Breton"
