Congratulations Lauren Laframboise for Winning the Concordia Stand-Out Graduate Research Award!

We are pleased to report that Lauren Laframboise, a PhD History student in our department, has received the $1000 Concordia Stand-Out Graduate Research Award for the most exceptional research output across the Fine Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. This was awarded for her Spring 2023 Labour/le Travail article, entitled “La Grève de la fierté’: Resisting Deindustrialization in Montreal’s Garment Industry, 1977-1983,” which originated in her Concordia MA thesis.
