Rustam Vahidov named chair of the Department of Supply Chain and Business Technology Management

JMSB Dean Steve Harvey announced that Rustam Vahidov has been appointed Chair of the Department of Supply Chain and Business Technology Management.

Vahidov has been with the department since 2000 and holds the RBC Professorship in Interorganizational Governance of Information Technology.   “Rustam brings a crisp new vision of the future of his department and I have great confidence that significant advancements will continue,” says Harvey.

Vahidov replaces Fassil Nebebe, under whose chairmanship the department saw the creation of a new research centre in studies in sustainable supply chain management, the creation of the new MSc in Supply Chain, as well as the adoption of a new department name.  “I would like to thank Fassil for the excellent job he did in his role as chair,” says Harvey.
