Freedman has been doing double duty for the past two-and-a-half years, serving as both vice-president of Development and External Relations as well as Secretary-General.
“Bram has made significant strides in re-framing our alumni relations and advancement initiatives, including putting in place a top-notch leadership team and introducing many innovations that have resulted in a doubling of funds raised to support our academic mission,” explains Shepard.
“The time is right for Freedman to dedicate 100 per cent of his time and energy to reach our ambitious fundraising goals.”
As a result of this change in responsibilities, Frederica “Freddie” Jacobs will assume the role of Secretary-General and General Counsel for a five-year term beginning December 1, 2015.
