Share your Concordia experiences
Have you accessed Concordia’s services to help with your studies? Which student clubs or university events have you participated in? What have been your most notable experiences in the classroom?
If you’re in the first or final year of your undergraduate degree, Concordia wants to hear from you through the 2017 National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE). Eligible students received an email on February 9 with a unique, secure link to participate.
The survey collects information about experiences inside and outside the classroom — from campus events to community projects. This year, 72 Canadian universities and colleges will participate.
“We encourage students to take the time to complete this key survey,” says Jonathan Levinson, executive director of Institutional Planning and Analysis.
“It’s an invaluable tool to help us understand and ultimately enhance the student experience, as well as the quality and value of a Concordia degree.”
Those who complete the survey by Friday, March 10, will be automatically entered in a draw for an Apple iPad mini or an e-reader.
And if you miss that date, don’t worry! Submit by Saturday, April 15, for a chance to win one of 10 Amazon.ca gift cards worth $25.
Levinson says that the goal of participating in the NSSE is to ensure that Concordia is offering the best possible learning and student experience.
“That’s why we pay such close attention to what is reported to us in this survey.”
He adds that the large numbers of Concordia students who participated in past Canadian NSSE surveys helped to benchmark Concordia against other universities.
Complete the National Survey of Student Engagement by March 10 to be entered into a draw to win an iPad mini or an e-reader.
