Close your eyes and jaunt back in time as you listen to live orchestral musings of renowned 19th-century composers Edward Elgar, Fanny Mendelssohn and Antonin Dvorak. This month a group of professional musicians will come together to offer a free chamber concert featuring a string quartet, piano and clarinet.

To Live as an Organ within Oneself | MAI (Montreal Arts Interculturels) | November 17 at 5 p.m.
Vernissage it up at a new exhibit, To Live as an Organ within Oneself, by Iranian-Canadian Naghmeh Sharifi (MFA 18). Check out ink-on-paper drawings and sculptures that examine ideas of identity and the psychology of the body. Sharifi is a Concordia graduate and has exhibited work in Tehran, Berlin, Toronto, Mexico City, Los Angeles and Skopje, Macedonia.

Indeterminacy & Possibility: A Dialogue between François & Didier Morelli | Centre des arts actuels SKOL | November 28, starting at 5:30 p.m.
François Morelli, acclaimed artist and professor of painting and drawing at Concordia, is known for his graphic installations and hybrid sculptures. This month, he’ll sit down with his son Didier for an intimate discussion about his four-decade art career and the spirit of intergenerational collaboration.
