Anne-Marie Croteau’s first term as the dean of John Molson School of Business ends on May 31, 2022. She has confirmed that she will seek a second term.
When a dean seeks renewal of their term, Concordia’s president establishes the Dean’s Evaluation Committee.
Chaired by Anne Whitelaw, interim provost and vice-president, academic, this committee evaluates Anne-Marie Croteau’s performance in her role as dean of the John Molson School.
Members of the university community are invited to make brief written submissions based on the evaluation themes and criteria. The community’s input will assist the committee in its work.
All comments must be signed or come from an identifiable email address.
Submissions will be treated in the strictest confidence. Only the secretary and chair of the Dean, John Molson School of Business Evaluation Committee will be privy to the identity of the person submitting the comments.
While the committee may wish to discuss the content of the submissions with the dean, the submissions themselves will not be communicated to Dean Croteau or to anyone beyond the committee.
The evaluation process is governed by the Policy on the Employment and Remuneration of the Academic Deans and the University Librarian (BD-17).
There is also a protocol for receiving and transmitting comments submitted to the evaluation committees that accompanies the policy.
Submissions should be sent to Danielle Tessier, secretary of the committee at danielle.tessier@concordia.ca no later than June 14, 2021.
