Hiring: Administrative support for flu vaccine clinics

Concordia Health Services is hiring a responsible, interested person to provide administrative support to the 2021 flu vaccine clinics, which run all day, five to six days in November. Ideally, the candidate will be available for all or most of the shifts below. Personal protective equipment will be provided, such as mask, visor, gloves and gown if necessary. 

$16 per hour, plus 4% vacation pay.

Dates & hours:

Shifts will run from from 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a 1 hour lunch break.

  • Tuesday, Nov 9: SGW EV Atrium
  • Wednesday, Nov 10: SGW EV Atrium
  • Thursday, Nov 11: Loyola SP Atrium
  • Wednesday, Nov 17: SGW EV Atrium
  • Thursday, Nov 18: SGW EV Atrium
  • Tuesday, Nov 23: Loyola, SP Atrium (TENTATIVE)

Main responsibilities include:

  • Greeting the patients
  • Checking them in and ensuring they have an appointment
  • Providing patients with consent forms and information sheets as necessary
  • Explaining procedure to patients and ensuring they complete and submit their forms
  • Managing line-up and patient flow
  • Checking in and registering some walk-in patients who don’t have appointments
  • Communicating with two nurse vaccinators, communicating patient concerns
  • Wiping down clip-boards, pens, etc.
