The September 12 event raised a record $320,000 for scholarships and bursaries for deserving students.

That brings the tournament’s total to $4.6 million since its inception. These funds have created over 1,000 student awards.

“Student support has huge impact on our next generation,” Concordia President Alan Shepard said to guests at the dinner following the day on the greens. He thanked the tournament’s generous sponsors and participants, its external Golf Classic leadership committee as well as CBC Weather Specialist Frank Cavallaro, who hosted the evening program.
