Oriana Bellissimo appointed as dietitian at Concordia’s Nutrition Suite
The School of Health is pleased to welcome Oriana Bellissimo as the new dietitian for the PC Nutrition Suite, starting November 25, 2024. A Concordia graduate, Oriana brings years of hands-on experience in patient care and nutrition management to this key role. She will guide the Nutrition Suite’s operations, contributing to its research and training programs while fostering its commitment to improving public health.
Oriana holds a B.Sc. in Behavioural Neuroscience from Concordia University and an M.Sc. in Dietetics from McGill University. She has honed her skills in roles at the Montreal Children’s Hospital and Santa Cabrini Hospital, where she worked closely with patients of all ages to address a range of nutritional needs. Her dedication to health education and collaborative care has made her an asset in both clinical and community settings.
At the PC Nutrition Suite, Oriana’s focus will align with the School of Health’s mission to promote research and education that lead to healthier communities. She will oversee the suite’s initiatives and ensure they continue to support Concordia’s vision of making a meaningful impact through interdisciplinary health solutions.
