The International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia

May 17 is a significant date for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. On this day in 1990, homosexuality was removed from the World Health Organization's list of mental disorders. The International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia was initiated by Fondation Émergence in 2003, establishing the first national day against homophobia. Today, this important day is celebrated across many countries, reflecting the ongoing global fight against discrimination.

This year's theme is:

"No one left behind: Equality, Freedom and Justice for all."
