Lydie is the mentor for you, if you are interested in: playwriting, theatre, storytelling, sounds, performance, installations, rituals, collective memory, decolonization and intersectionality.

Lydie Dubuisson is a playwright, director, curator and dramaturg from Tiohtià:ke/ Montreal. She graduated with distinctions from Concordia University's Theatre Program. Her work examines intersectionality, dystopian reality, collective memory and multilingual creative processes.  

Dubuisson wrote QUIET/SILENCE, SANCTUARY/SANCTUAIRE, and she co-wrote BLACKOUT: THE CONCORDIA COMPUTER RIOT. She is currently writing a new play.  She directed AFRODISIAQUE (Collectif Potomitan), RINGTONE (Imago Theatre), SHARING OUR STORIES, TELLING OUR LIVES (Teesri Duniya Theatre) and AFRODRAG: PAST, PRESENT & FUTURE (Centre PHI).

Lydie Dubuisson is the artistic associate at Black Theatre Workshop since 2020.
