Research Associate - Centre for Innovation in Construction and Infrastructure Engineering and Management

The Centre for Innovation in Construction and Infrastructure Engineering and Management (CICIEM) at Concordia University is seeking a Research Associate.

The ideal candidate should possess a PhD in Construction Engineering and Management (CEM) with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

  • construction automation
  • sustainable and resilient civil infrastructure
  • simulation of construction operations
  • lifecycle costing and construction finance
  • digital twin applications in construction
  • modular and industrialized construction

Excellent communication skills are required and industry experience is an asset.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with the Center's directors, actively engage in research projects, contribute to the development of research grant proposals, and play a key role in organizing workshops, seminars, and meetings.

The appointment will be for one-year renewable pending performance.
