Position
Overseeing the operation of A100 server of Dr Rivaz (purchased through a CFI grant) to use by IMPACT lab at the ECE Department. Operating a Verasonics Vantage 256 ultrasound machine (purchased through a CFI grant).
Primary responsibilities
- Giving members of the IMPACT lab permission to use the server.
- Answering deep learning questions from the lab members.
- Maintaining and operating the Verasonics ultrasound machine.
- Developing deep learning packages for the server.
Requirement
- PhD degree in electrical engineering, computer science or related fields.
- Expert in AI and machine learning.
- Expert in deep learning methodologies, including convolutional neural networks and transformer architectures.
- Expert in ultrasound research.
- Familiarity with ultrasound and open ultrasound systems.
- Knowledge of Python.
- Excellent spoken and written English language skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Contract
May 1, 2025 – Oct 31, 2025 (6 months)
Full-time, 35 hours per week.
Salary
$30 per hour
