Ali Nazemi, Director
Ali Nazemi is an assistant professor in civil engineering. His expertise is in the areas of hydrology, water resources and mathematical modeling. He obtained his PhD from the University of Birmingham, UK, where he was the holder of the prestigious Dorothy Hodgkin’s Post Graduate Award from the UK government. Before joining Concordia, he worked as a Senior Hydrologist for Saskatchewan Water Security Agency and provided science support for operation of provincial water systems. He is a founding member of the Global Institute for Water Security at the University of Saskatchewan and serves as the Associate Editor for Sustainable Cities and Society (Elsevier) and Resource (MDPI).
