  • Communicate with students and answer student questions, based on your direct experience and liaising with graduate recruitment staff when needed for more specialized inquiries
  • Connect students to the information and resources they may need to make informed decisions about their future graduate studies, including referring them directly to graduate program and recruitment staff
  • Check your ambassador accounts daily and answer questions in a timely manner
  • Host peer-to-peer graduate studies information sessions and Q&As, and participate in graduate student panels
  • Prepare outreach recommendations based on your direct knowledge of specific regions or programs
  • Work extended hours at in-person recruitment events such as Open House and graduate recruitment fairs
  • Maintain conversations and build friendly relationships with students by asking questions and being engaging
  • Provide insight into your university experiences through chats, videos and social media
