JEX curates various collections that are available for study and consultation, which includes the:
- CBC Radio Drama Archive from 1925 to the present — for which JEX is the legal depository
- Diniacopoulos BBC World News Collection spanning from 1969 to 1986
- CBC Morningside Documents Collection covering the 1980s to 1990s
