Collections
As JEX studies the future of journalism it also examines the past. Since 1975, the Centre has preserved several archival collections for study and consultation.
CBC Radio Dramas
The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) has a rich history in radio drama, dating back to the 1920s. JEX carries the mandate to preserve this important part of our Canadian culture for future generations to study and enjoy.
Diniacopoulos BBC World News Collection
Spanning approximately 17 years and including over 8,000 hours of radio broadcasts, this collection provides a unique record of world events as seen through the eyes of the BBC World News.
CBC Morningside documents collection
The CBC Morningside Documents collection is an archive of program materials from one of the CBC's most popular shows. The materials cover about 20 years, starting in the early 1980s, and give key insights into topics of the time.
