Alessia Civita is a Master's student in Psychiatry at McGill University. She is supervised by Dr. Marie-Claude Geoffroy, and her Master's topic focuses on suicidal ideation in adolescence and its consequences in adulthood.
Alessia Civita began working as coordinator for HERMES in 2023, after graduating from Concordia University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Honours Psychology. She completed her thesis in the Anxiety and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders Laboratory at Concordia University. Her research focused on the relationship between appraisals of responsibility, beliefs about losing control and urges to act in doubt scenarios related to obsessive-compulsive disorder.
