Océane Piquion-Pierre is an Undergraduate Bachelor of Arts student pursuing a major in Sociology paired with a minor in Interdisciplinary Studies in Sexuality at Concordia University. She is passionate about issues affecting more vulnerable parts of our society such as minorities, persecuted groups and socio-economically challenged communities (especially concerning their youths), which motivates her work and practical learning in the HERMES team. She also explores these topics vastly as she participates actively in the North American Model United Nations circuit, offering her a political perspective on social debates and legislation to implement in her present and future activism.
