University impact ranking

The Times Higher Education (THE) University Impact Ranking measures university contributions to the SDGs.

In 2021, Concordia ranked number 62 overall among the 1,118 participating institutions.

On individual SDGs, Concordia is among the top 25 in the world in three areas:

  • SDG 10 Reduced Inequalities
  • SDG 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities
  • SDG 13 Climate Action

Concordia Sustainability Action Plan 2020-2025

Achieving the SDGs is tied to our Sustainability Action Plan. The action plan provides a long-term vision as well as practical steps to take around food, waste, and climate action in our research, curriculum, and operations.
