Maria Popica examines three intercultural twinning projects conducted at John Abbott College, which aimed to enhance student motivation for learning French and improve their intercultural communication skills.

Maria Popica has been teaching French at John Abbott College since 2008. As a teacher and researcher, she is interested in experiential learning, enabling students to learn French in an authentic context of communication and immersion in Quebec culture.

Maria is a QUESCREN researcher-member.
