We're living in a digital age and nowhere is that clearer than visual communications and graphic design. This program, taught by the best of the best will give you the understanding and the skills you need to take your place in an ad agency, a graphic design or website creation firm, a publishing company or any other related field.
This seven-course program is the perfect opportunity to explore and express your digital creativity:
- Learn the basics of graphic design and visual identity
- Create digital illustrations, page layouts and multi-page documents
- Dive into Graphic user interface (GUI) and user experience (UX)
- Prepare for a transition into a career in graphics in 10 weeks

Program courses

Students must complete the following 6 core program courses:
- Visual Design and Branding (CEDP 100)
- Adobe Illustrator (CEDP 200)
- Intro to Adobe Photoshop (CEPH 219)
- Adobe InDesign (CEDP 350)
- Web Design (CEDP 300)
- Intro to UX/UI (CEDP 410)
Students must also complete 1 of the following electives:
- Search Engine Optimization (CEWD 365)
- Search Engine Marketing (CEMK 175)
- Social Media Networks and Concepts (CEPR 125)

Course exemptions
All course exemptions must be requested in writing at the time of registration. To request a course exemption, students must complete a Course Exemption Form and submit it to cce@concordia.ca.
