Dona Nham

Thesis supervisor: Elizabeth Miller

Dona Nham is an artist and researcher specializing in the intersections of memory, identity, and (dis)placement.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacology from the University of Alberta and is currently pursuing a master’s in Media Studies. Dona’s academic work examines the impact of colonialism, imperialism, and white supremacy on cultural memory and identity fragmentation. Her current research project combines critical autoethnography and mixed-media approaches to bridge fragmented family stories.

Dona has over eight years of experience as a multidisciplinary artist, facilitator, and organizer dedicated to amplifying marginalized voices through her practice-based research and creative work.
