Ricochet
Rebound. Resonate. Reverberate.
In the performances created by the third-year students of the dance department, the notion of Ricochet is expressed through rebounds, chain reactions, or unexpected impulses generated by bodies that meet, observe each other, reposition themselves, abruptly distance themselves, or merge tenderly.
Offering new perspectives on intimacy, relationships, human communication, or on the power structures acting upon the contemporary body, the nine choreographies invent singular aesthetics, allowing different ideas touching on imagination, memory, identity, or emotions to take shape and unfold in space. Each piece can be seen as a poetic projectile, carrying a charge that, we hope, will resonate with the audience.
