The Coping with Anxiety Workshop Series is an online educational and interactive series of workshops intended for students who struggle with anxiety and who are registered with the Access Centre for Students with Disabilities.

In this workshop, we will discuss common anxiety disorders and how they can impact your university experience and learning.  We will then explore various techniques for addressing anxiety symptoms and improving your overall wellbeing.

The two mindfulness techniques we will explore and practice will be using our sensory awareness to bring us to the present moment and observing our thoughts, feelings, and body sensations in the present moment.

I will share tips and strategies to help you incorporate mindfulness into your everyday life and in those moments that are most anxiety-provoking to you.

Facilitator: Dr. Moire Stevenson, Lead for Disability Accommodations (ACSD) and Clinical Psychologist
