Teaching large classes can bring many challenges. During this session, participants will discuss the major challenges in teaching large classes, and the presenter will discuss some evidence-based strategies to use help mitigate some of these challenges. The focus of the session will focus on how instructors can make large classes “feel” smaller and techniques for engaging students. Participants will also have the opportunity to share their own experiences and strategies with others. For the purposes of this presentation, a large class is considered to be a class of 50 or more students.
