Dean’s Awards for Outstanding Achievement by Faculty and Staff

On October 15, 2010, the Office of the Dean hosted a ceremony and reception to recognize and honour the recipients of the 2009-2010 Dean’s Awards for Outstanding Achievement by Faculty and Staff. The 12 outstanding individuals (listed below) were honoured for their contribution to the University, the Faculty, their colleagues and our students. Award for Distinguished Scholarship

The Dean’s Award for Distinguished Scholarship recognizes a body of published scholarly work of a standard sufficient to have brought greater national or international recognition to the Faculty of Arts and Science

Outstanding Academic Service

The Dean’s Award for Academic Service recognizes a record of academic service, normally including components both within and outside the Faculty of Arts and Science, whose extent and quality significantly surpass accepted norms.
