Loyola Campus: Tree planting initiative begins on September 23

Starting September 23, a tree planting initiative will take place across the Loyola Campus. Concordia is partnering with Soverdi, a non-profit organization focused on urban green and forestation strategies, to undertake this project.

The main purpose of this initiative is to diversify native tree species (deciduous and coniferous) while beautifying the campus.

Where

• Trees and shrubs will be planted in several locations across the Loyola Campus.

Timeline

• The work will take approximately 5 weeks to complete.
