Building Capacity in Indigenous Research: An Indigenous Symposium
This symposium will explore culturally-responsive strategies for carrying out research with Indigenous communities. The symposium as three main objectives:
- To center Indigenous Elders and knowledge holders in the research process
- To support Indigenous graduate students and raise the profile of Indigenous research
- To identify local and regional Indigenous research priorities and explore ways of establishing respectful research relationships and accountability
Who: Indigenous Elders, community members, faculty, and students
When: January 18, 2019 at 5:30pm - January 19, 2019 from 8:30am to 5pm
Where: Jack Cram Auditorium (Room 129), McGill Education Building, 3700 Rue McTavish, Montréal
