Canadian aerospace is entering a new era with the emergence of disruptive technologies in autonomy and decarbonization. To maintain its position as a global leader, it is crucial to address the growing skillset gap in the workforce and among recent graduates.

Designed for professionals by subject matter experts from industry and academia, the programs are intended for:
- Aerospace professionals seeking to upskill
- Professionals in transition looking to enter the aerospace sector
- Recent graduates entering the job market
Upon successful completion of the training, participants will receive a micro-certification, enhancing their portfolio and ensuring a competitive edge in the job market.
Each program consists of a mix of synchronous and asynchronous activities, equivalent to 45 hours of lecture over one academic term.
Decarbonization of Aerospace
This program teaches participants about the strides taken towards the transformation of energy in the aerospace sector. They will grasp the concepts of sustainability in aerospace, life cycle assessment, the different types of sustainable aviation fuel and how to produce them. The program covers the following topics:
- Lifecycle assessment in aerospace
- Sustainable aviation fuels
- Hydrogen propulsion
- Energy storage, performance and energy conversion
Applications of Emerging Cyber Technologies in Aerospace
This program explores the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the aerospace industry, from the training of the pilot to providing healthcare in space. Participants will also learn about many AI techniques and the acquisition of data without bias to enable the implementation of AI. The program covers the following topics:
