- April 14, 2023 Take a Break ECE Graduate Event,
ECE department's event for graduate students, "Take a Break", has become very popular! After a long difficult term full of studies, assignments, projects and midterms, students need much-deserved break, before they delve into final exams.
Our 5th floor is transformed into a lounge area for the event - with decorations, balloons, games, food and drinks - just like a birthday party!
Our graduate students, usually very serious during their studies, become kids again - they come to play jenga, Foosball and Uno, enjoy their peers' company in a relaxed atmosphere, have some pizza and snacks, share some laughter and their stories. In a safe and supporting space, our students feel as part of a community. They relax and gather strength before their next challenge - final exams.
