Computer & media labs - teaching use

Concordia offers a wide range of computing resources, electronic, and media-related equipment. The labs on this page require a reservation or access code.
Please contact your particular department for more information regarding their departmental labs.

Faculty, staff, students, alumni, and external clients.

How much does it cost?

Rates vary depending on the lab requested and your client classification. Consult the Equipment Loan & Rental page for more information.

1. Food and drink are strictly prohibited.
2. Phone calls should not be answered in the lab.
3. Users must treat the equipment with respect, and be conscious of the students around them.

To access the computer, you must log in using your Concordia netname and password.

Yes – additional software installations can be requested in computer labs. More information regarding services offered and costs associated is available on the classroom and lab software installation page.

While other software may be present, there is a standard software package installed on PC workstations in classrooms, open-use labs, and teaching labs.

This package includes:

  • Microsoft Office 2010 (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access)
  • SPSS, Mathematica, Maple
  • 7zip
  • FastStone Image Viewer
  • FireFox, Internet Explorer, Chrome
