Marc Garcia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from St. Joseph’s College in Standish (Maine).  He began his professional career in 2007 as a manager for Main Street Downtown in Van Buren, Maine. In this role, he was the liaison between community businesses and city and state Government.  Marc moved to Canada to pursue a career with an industry leader in the car rental sector.  In this role, he was able to advance his management, leadership and sales skills.  He currently works for the Canadian Federation of Independent Business, a non-profit Canada-wide advocacy groups representing SMEs across three levels of government.  Marc has distinguished himself provincially and nationally at the CFIB for his performance and leadership within the organization.

Marc is trilingual, speaking French, English and Spanish. He was born in Southern Mexico, was schooled in the United States and has made Montreal his home since 2009. 

Sports have always been an important part of Marc’s life and he continues to play basketball and softball competitively.
