Submit to Perspectives

John Molson Perspectives bridges the gap between researchers and the business community by providing relevant, insightful and impactful information based on research conducted at the John Molson School of Business. Please review the submission guidelines below.

Submission guidelines

We evaluate submissions based on the following criteria:

  1. Contributions are welcome from faculty members, PhD and Master’s students of the John Molson School of Business, Concordia University.
  2. Submissions must be timely, relevant to current issues in the business world and offer clear recommendations, conclusions, or, in other words the answer to the “so what” question for the reader.

The Perspectives editorial board reviews all submissions to ensure they meet these criteria. Only those that receive approval from the editorial board will move forward to the article development phase.

There are two ways to submit an article for consideration:

  • Self-developed submission: Authors can write their own, approximately 600-word practitioner-based article, which will then be further refined with the support of a Knowledge Creation Assistant (KCI).
  • Collaborative submission: Alternatively, the KCI can work directly with the author to develop the article.

Interested candidates must first complete the submission form, answering a series of questions to express their interest. After approval from the editorial board, candidates will be contacted with the next steps.

Once an article is developed, it undergoes a comprehensive review to ensure it meets the Concordia style guide and publishing standards. The editorial process may require revisions and selected contributors may be asked to adjust their submissions.

Final editorial decisions, including headlines and subheadings, will be made by the Perspectives team.

Before publication, the article will be sent to the contributor/researcher for accuracy verification.

We look forward to your submissions!
