Anne-Marie Croteau: “To be recognized as the top business school in Canada in this category is something that I am very proud of.”

The John Molson MBA is tops in Quebec and fourth in Canada according to the newly released 2019-2020 Best B-Schools rankings from Bloomberg Businessweek.

Concordia’s program placed first in the country for entrepreneurship.

The publication’s list is based on data compiled from more than 9,000 students, 14,920 alumni, 900 corporate recruiters, and compensation and job-placement data from each school.

Programs were separately ranked on four component indexes — compensation, networking, learning and entrepreneurship — providing prospective students more ways to evaluate what schools have to offer them.

“We often hear from students that they see entrepreneurship as an important part of their MBA training,” Anne-Marie Croteau, dean of the John Molson School of Business. “To be recognized as the top business school in Canada in this category is something that I am very proud of.”

The John Molson MBA uses case-based teaching to offer students a big-picture business education, and the program has been climbing steadily in a number of international rankings.

The QS Global MBA Rankings 2020 placed the school first in Canada for return on investment, and The Economist’s latest Which MBA? survey ranked it 91st in the world. In November, the 2019 Corporate Knights Better World MBA Ranking placed the John Molson MBA 24th worldwide, nine spots better than last year.
