Anti-Asian racism subcommittee
The Anti-Asian racism subcommittee of the STRIVE Task Force is gathering information about concerns and experiences related to bias, prejudice, discrimination, hatred, harassment, and/or violence against Asians at Concordia, and about Asian experience in university life generally.

Call to participate
We invite current staff, faculty and students (including those who graduated in 2024) to share their concerns or experiences related to these issues at Concordia. Your participation will help inform the work and approaches of the committee as well as our policy recommendations.
We invite participation from those with direct experience and also those who have observed structural and identity-based violence (broadly defined) related to Anti-Asian Racism on campus.
Tell us about your experiences! Take the Anti-Asian Racism Survey
To gain a better understanding of the Asian community at Concordia, we invite you to fill out a quick survey.
We are interested in learning about how Asians at the university perceive themselves, what their concerns and experiences with regards to Concordia are, and, more importantly, what improvements and initiatives they hope to see that would enhance their time as a Concordians.
What do we mean by Asian? The members of the subcommittee understand that the term Asian is broad and means something personal and different for each person. Please answer the survey questions based on your own definition and understanding of Asian.
Take the survey!
It takes about nine minutes to fill out. Complete the survey before April 30, 2025 and you will be eligible to win one of five $20 Tim Hortons gift cards!
The survey is anonymous. To complete it, you must be signed in with your Concordia email address, but your names will not be recorded or saved in any way. The survey is open to students, faculty and staff. Aside from letting us know whether you are a student, a member of faculty or staff, all questions are optional.
