Ridge Shukrun 

Interim Interfaith Facilitator

Ridge is the interim Interfaith Facilitator at the Multi-faith and Spirituality Centre, and is animated by the desire to learn from and exchange with people from all walks about meaning, belief and spirituality. He has an MA in Theological Studies with an expertise in secular spirituality. 

Ridge is particularly interested in the connection between education, the creative process and spirituality. He is an avid music-lover and concert-goer, and in his spare time, he also makes his own music.

Talal Akkad

Ambassador, Communication and Social Media

Talal has solid experience in content creation, and worked as a Social Media Assistant for the Theatre Department. He is currently a film production student at the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema. Talal is passionate about visual content creation, especially work that fosters community engagement and inspiration. He is also dedicated to creating art that preserves cultural heritage.

Ruby Feiler

Ambassador, Events Assistant

Ruby is the event Assistant at the Multi-faith and Spirituality Centre and a current student here at Concordia University. With a passion for bringing people together, Ruby is excited to support the creation of meaningful and engaging events. Ruby believes that shared activities like group cooking, eating, outings and reflections are powerful ways to build a warm and inclusive environment where diversity, equity and inclusion thrive!

Ruby loves to cook hearty meals, read cool papers and be near the water. Ruby is eager to get to know new people and have a good semester.

Deborah Simon

Loyola Chapel Coordinator

Deborah oversees the day to day operation of the chapel and can assist you with coordinating your event. Her interests are in the blending of education, theatre and community engagement.
