We are fortunate to be able to offer rooms in our residences for all out-of-town students for the duration of their summer schools.
The available residence is the Grey Nuns' Building (GN) on the corner of Boulevard René-Lévesque Ouest and Guy Street.
The historic Grey Nuns' Residences, owned by Concordia University, is in the heart of the Montreal’s “new China town” – where multiple restaurants featuring Chinese noodles and dumplings, Korean barbecue, sushi, and Thai fare are interspersed with a wide range of coffee shops, pubs, and eating establishments for foodies of all kinds. There is also a communal kitchen and sitting rooms and the residence is steps away from a metro station and the downtown campus.
The front desk is open from 7:30am to 12:30am (half past midnight). Guests can check in any time after 4pm, and if they arrive after 12:30am we will leave their keys with our 24 hour security agents. We provide linens and towels, but we encourage guests to bring a second towel if they would like one. We do not provide any toiletries. We have laundry rooms in the building which guests can use for free. Please note that there is no A/C in any of the rooms. More information can be found in the official FAQ.
If you prefer to stay with a friend, in a hotel or Airbnb, please be aware that this will be at your own expense.
Any additional arrangements or special requests should be directed to Vincent Martineau.
