SUMMER 2025
Discover the variety of camp programs that offer children opportunities to improve their athletic and teamwork abilities, bolster their understanding of science, technology and engineering or develop their creativity through the arts. There are fun activities for children to explore and enjoy throughout the summer. Register for a summer camp.
Concordia Athletics – Multiactivity camp
Ages 6-14
With a focus on fun, Concordia’s multiactivity co-ed camp gives kids the opportunity to try a variety of different sports and activities. Campers will develop skills in leadership, teamwork and sportsmanship while participating in a wide variety of action-packed drills and games.
YMCA - Concordia Science & Engineering camps
Ages 5-12
Concordia is pleased to continue its partnership with the YMCAs of Québec in offering the Science and Engineering camps program. Five new science and engineering camps will offer an engaging series of activities and experiments that will pique campers’ curiosity in science, engineering, technology, artificial intelligence and more!
Our camp is staffed by university students and staff with prior experience as counselors and teaching.
Science and Engineering Exploration
Campers will explore the worlds of science, technology, mathematics and engineering. With a new theme each week, they’ll experience interactive workshops, play outside, and go on a field trip to Montreal institutions that highlight themes explored in the camp’s sessions.
Environment Exploration
This new program lets kids discover the world of natural sciences in all its forms through two exciting camps.
- Milli-Volt – Green Tech: Campers explore natural sciences through hands-on activities like building green prototypes and exploring urban gardens.
- Mission: Fauna and Flora: Campers deepen their understanding of animals, plants, and microorganisms by growing 3D cells, extracting DNA, and observing insects.
Space Exploration
Kids will explore space through robotics and astronomy by designing small robots, building rockets, and star gazing. They'll also discover the life of an astronaut.
Chemistry Exploration
Young science fans will uncover the mysteries of chemical reactions through exciting experiments like soap making and rainbow flames. Campers will also explore molecular gastronomy by trying recipes like gourmet pearls and homemade ice cream.
Specialized introduction to civil and computer engineering
This program stimulates kids' curiosity in technology and construction through two captivating workshops. Campers can learn computer coding basics and can also explore civil engineering concepts with Lego® construction challenges.
Specialized introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI)
This AI-focused program for kids with basic programming knowledge offers cybersecurity and facial recognition activities, and AI applications like ChatGPT. Campers will learn how these technologies are transforming the world while enhancing their programming skills.
YMCA – Concordia Fine Arts camps
The YMCA – Concordia Fine Arts Camps combine our Fine Arts expertise with the long camp tradition of YMCAs of Québec to let your child explore their talents and discover new passions. From music to dance to visual arts to video game design, we have something for every taste! Discover the unique fine arts camps at a glance.
Day camps will be held at Concordia’s Sir George Williams Campus in downtown Montreal.
Theatrical Exploration
This camp touches every aspect of putting on a play. Perfect for children who love to play make believe!
Arts Exploration
In this program, your child can discover a new art form every day. Campers’ artistic exploration will flourish in this exciting agenda of inspiring outings and diverse activities including dance, theatre, textiles, visuals arts and music.
Musical exploration
You can never be too loud at this camp, which gives campers a chance to explore a wide range of instruments, from ukulele to piano and xylophone, in addition to discovering music styles such as classical, rock and country. No musical experience required!
Visual arts exploration
Give your budding artist an opportunity to develop their creative talents at this specialized arts camp. Every week is unique and fun with activities including painting, drawing, sculpture, comic book art and more.
Digital Art Exploration
This program offers something for every taste! Campers will explore digital art disciplines such as video art, pixel art, video games, 3D, photography and more.
Ages 9-12
Specialized introduction to contemporary dance
In collaboration with Concordia’s Department of Contemporary Dance, this program engages campers in weekly themed group dance projects and routines inspired by contemporary dance stars, culminating in a performance that fosters creativity and storytelling.
Specialized introduction to theatre
In this program, campers can explore different facets of theatre. From developing improvisation skills to analyzing classic plays and participating in a playwriting workshop, there is something new to learn every week!
Specialized introduction to music
Every week, campers will explore a different element of musical composition: musical improvisation techniques, movie scores, digital music composition and videogame music recording.
Specialized introduction to visual arts
Has your kid tried it all? Painting, drawing, sculpture and more? This program shines the spotlight on your kid’s creativity and interest in the visual arts with a new theme every week. On the agenda: comic book making, cyanotype, poster and zine making, and calligraphy and artistic graffiti.
Textile exploration
Introduce your kid to fabric art, textile, and clothes making. In this program campers will learn how to sew and embroider and discover how to make their own textile dye from natural ingredients.
Specialized introduction to digital camera art
Does your child love playing with your camera? In this program, your kid will explore various artistic possibilities offered by the digital camera for both photos and videos including digital photography, image animation, TikTok videography, portrait photograpy, and much more.
Introduction to 3D art
This program will introduce your kids to the fascinating world of 3D art, from modelling to animation to texture, and much more. Coached by the program’s on-site specialists, campers will use specialized software, such as Blender, and learn the building blocks of 3D creation.
Introduction to video game design
Do your kids love video games? In this program, campers will experience the exciting field of video game design using the application Scratch and learn to bring their own 2D video game to life.
