How to apply
The program is recognized by the university and has been endorsed at the level of the President’s Executive Group.
Departmental directors and managers are encouraged to facilitate employee participation in the program, and to support program activities within their department.
Eligibility
In order to be eligible for the program, employees must:
- Complete the virtual “Introduction to Sustainability at Concordia for Employees” professional development course by February 7th.
- To register for the course, log in to UNITY's Learning Management System (LMS)
- Use the "Search for Learning" field to do a search by the keyword “sustainability”
- Start the course, which will be completed in 1.5 hours
- Attend an introductory training in person on the downtown campus on February 11th.
- Commit to spend 2-3 hours per month on program activities between February-December.
- Receive approval by your department lead and/or manager, since program activities will take place during work hours. Your department lead must also pledge to be receptive to and participate in changes to improve the sustainability of the department.
Apply to the program
To apply to the program, simply present this departmental approval form for signature by your department lead and/or manager and complete the application form by the January 31, 2025.
