How to apply
The program is recognized by the university and has been endorsed at the level of the President’s Executive Group.
Departmental directors and managers are encouraged to facilitate employee participation in the program, and to support program activities within their department.
Eligibility
- Employees must have taken, or commit to take, the two-hour “Introduction to Sustainability at Concordia for Employees” professional development course.
- Ability to attend one training per month from January to May and from September to December. Trainings take place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thursdays.
- Ability to spend 4 hours per month on program activities between January and May and September to December.
- Interest in volunteering with campus sustainability initiatives for 2 to 4 hours per month in June, July and August.
- Approval by a your supervisor or department lead is required since program activities will take place during work hours.
- Your department lead must also pledge to be receptive to and participate in changes to improve the sustainability of the department.
- Approval is required since you will spend 4 hours per month on program activities.
