Salary guidelines
Hiring our students allows organizations the possibility of saving on overall compensation costs. Quebec-based employers may also be eligible for significant tax credits and/or funding.
Salaries depend upon the type of work assignment and the student’s experience. Please consult the table below for the hourly wages* for Institute for Cooperative Education students for January-December 2024**. We encourage overseas employers to pay salaries in accordance with their industry norms.
Note: Quebec's minimum wages historically increase on May 1st of each year.
* All figures in Canadian dollars.
** Approximations applied as needed due to insufficient sample sizes.
