Undergraduate student association

The Applied Human Sciences Student Association (AHSCSA) brings together undergraduate students in Human Relations, Leisure Sciences, and Therapeutic Recreation to create a dynamic and supportive community. Whether you're looking to connect, grow, or stay informed, the AHSCSA helps make the most of your experience in the department. 

The AHSCSA helps undergraduate students:

Graduate student association

All graduate students registered in Human Systems Intervention or Youth Work are members of the Applied Human Sciences Graduate Student Association (AHSCGSA).

The AHSCGSA's objectives are:

  • to create links within the Applied Human Sciences graduate student community 
  • to showcase the work of the students within our community and to a broader audience
  • to advocate for students’ interests, such as funding, events, addressing student concerns, professional advancement, networking, and more

Centre for Human Flourishing

The Centre for Human Flourishing (CHF) is a community of learners associated with the Department of Applied Human Sciences, dedicated to improving the quality of the life in human systems.

The Centre provides the faculty and students of the department a necessary vehicle to carry on the working relationship with the community by providing learning experiences, training, consulting, research and publishing services to groups, organizations and individuals.
