AHSC at Concordia offers a range of challenging and innovative programs in human relations, recreation and leisure studies, therapeutic recreation, community service, family life education, human systems intervention, and youth work.

The educational philosophy of our department centers on experience-based learning or learning-by-doing. Most of our programs include fieldwork or internships outside the university.
