I received a B.F.A. in Jazz Performance from Concordia and worked as a musician in Montreal. Then I obtained a B.A. in Psychology at Concordia during which I completed an Honours Thesis in Dr. Virginia Penhune’s lab, investigating the impact of musical training in children. I completed an MA equivalent in the Clinical Psychology graduate program at Concordia, before obtaining accelerated admission into the PhD program. For my dissertation, I am investigating cognitive-motor interactions in aging. I am interested in the impact of rhythmic auditory cueing on walking in older adults, and identifying potential moderators such as musical ability/interest and cognition.
